Upon receiving an accounting degree and working for Florida banks and Price Waterhouse, she and her husband started a family, and she became a stay-at-home mom.  Family and education have always been at the center of her life, and she wants to contribute her time and experience to supporting the success of our school community. She is a proud mother of four adult children and three son-in-laws and blessed with seven grandchildren, one of whom attends SJCA.  She has spent her years balancing family life with a strong commitment to faith, education, and her community. (On a side note, she has received “ Imprimis”. A Hillsdale publication for 20 years and has taken online courses). In addition, her lifelong role as a mother and grandmother has given her a deep understanding of the importance of strong schools and preparing children for a bright future.  For the past several years, she has worked in Real Estate, where she has built strong skills in communication, problem-solving and helping families through one of life’s biggest decisions. Her experience raising her children and staying actively involved in their learning has taught her the value of patience, hard-work, and perseverance – qualities she brings to every relationship in real estate transactions, non-profits in the community, and her church.  She is passionate about giving back and ensuring that our charter school remains a place where students thrive academically and personally.
